It captures information relate to environment of connected vehicle and the applications it employs, and then analyze this data. After analysis, it makes suggestions for transportation choices, which will be friendly to the environment. Problems
This system is neither a semi nor a fully autonomous system. Therefore, when the driver will receive the warning, it will be up to the driver to take the necessary steps to avoid the accident.

The system aims at increasing the safety on road by increasing communications between various makes of car. In order to make the system compatible with several manufacturers and brands, the Car-2-Car communication system is aiming at defining a universal protocol for communication between vehicles. This will enable the vehicles to communicate about the possible dangers and other important information. A vehicle encountering an unfavorable condition like fog, traffic jam or an accident will communicate the information to the other vehicles.

The Car-2-Car communication technology by Volkswagen will enable safe roads by averting accidents.
